Health and Healing Jamboree
Mark your calendars for an exciting inaugural event—the Sevenoaks Health and Healing Jamboree—to be held Labor Day weekend, Friday, August 29, through Monday, September 1.
Sevenoaks Pathwork Center expects to host more than 130 guests as it
brings together a rich community of talented resources, inspired
leaders, and curious participants seeking to expand their
consciousness, celebrate life, and plant seeds that can change the
world.
The Jamboree will break new ground from previous events held at
Sevenoaks by offering concurrent sessions that will allow attendees to
taste experiences in many healing modalities and to encounter a variety
of teachers. Throughout the weekend, large plenary sessions will create
a rich community where everyone gathers together for ceremony, music,
dance, dialogue, and nourishment. Participants will choose from an
abundance of more than 40 presentations and mini-workshops offered at
different sites throughout the Sevenoaks Conference Center.
“To enhance a sense of community, most participants and presenters will
stay onsite throughout the weekend,” said Sid del Cardayré, president
of Mid-Atlantic Pathwork. “Events will begin early, with a chance to
share and socialize into the evening. It really will be a jamboree!”
Whether one is a committed Pathworker, curious about Pathwork, or
serving as a leader in one of the many related disciplines and
practices offered, the Jamboree promises to delight the body, mind,
emotions, and spirit. Themes, or “tracks” of activity, throughout the
weekend will include contemplation, energy and body work, nature and
ecology, deep inner exploration and growth, Pathwork, and global
understanding.
